10. Why Live Long?

Other than just staying alive, why? My answer is that healthily living to a healthy 114 years, or c.1-million hours of life, would allow one to accumulate intellectual power from experience while enjoying the rational pleasures of daily life: the joy of eating healthily and moderately, of intellectual accomplishment, of satisfying normal curiosity, of living moderately and not harming everyone's environment or one's fellow creatures.
I talk here to everyone who has rational desires. Think of the benefits if we could continue to enjoy the creativity of an Albert Einstein had he lived with a healthy brain to age 114 instead of dying with age-damaged brain almost 50 years too early?

My personal equation is: enjoying a well-lived life plus work in progress; finding self by age eighty with healthy body and mind well psychoanalyzed, in control of one's life; enjoying rational pleasures moderately; avoiding grandiosity, euphoria, greed and possessiveness; and with the will to humbly achieve 30 or so more years of a creative and socially gratifying living experience. That is enough to guide me to the 1-million-hour goal.
Additionally, from Society's standpoint intelligent persons who live circa one-million hours should become super intelligent because they experience no brain deterioration with their aging but also are able to accumulate a tremendous amount of additional knowledge and understanding. So think of the great advantage for society.
